The PS-Cam Viewfinder HD is a HD resolution viewfinder system based on the TV Logic 5.6" hi-res LCD monitor. This brilliant LCD monitor together with a viewfinder hood and interchangeable eyepiece cup provides a high-end, cost-efficient HD-SDI compatible viewfinder system to be used with any digital camera offering HD output. Originally the PS-Cam Viewfinder was developed as a perfect companion for the PS-Cam X35, but it can be also used with any HD-SDI compatible camera system.
Mechanically the PS-Cam Viewfinder is attached via a flex-arm to the camera body. This allows for maximum comfort and for freedom of adjustment in order to ergonomically position the viewfinder. The viewfinder can be used with either the right or the left eye without the need for correction. An integrated quick release mechanism on the viewfinder hood allows for one-handed operation in order to change between viewfinder and monitor view. The PS-Cam Viewfinder is compatible with standard eyepiece cups as well as accessories such as the heated eyepiece cup.
